In this role, Cross manages the Company’s overall marketing and strategic operations, managing both internal and external communications.

Cross’ daily responsibilities include corporate marketing, advertising and media relations. He also is an external liaison for the Company, traveling throughout the United States to promote The Allen Group with prospective and existing clients, partners and members of the real estate industry.

Before joining the firm, Cross served in various staff positions with California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, including as Deputy Director for the Southern California Volunteer Headquarters for Schwarzenegger’s gubernatorial campaign; on the Governor’s Inauguration Committee; and as a correspondence writer, where he managed the Governor’s Labor and Workforce Development Agency correspondence.

In 2005, Cross was assigned to Schwarzenegger’s political advance team to plan and execute event and press logistics.

From 2000 to 2003, Cross served on the communications team of Ohio Auditor of State Jim Petro; in 2003, he worked as Legislative and Committee Aide to Ohio State Representative Mike Gilb. Cross also served as a lead staff member to the Ohio House Committee on Juvenile and Family Law.

In addition, he worked in Washington D.C. for Congressman Pat Tiberi and the Republican National Committee.

Cross is a native of Ohio and a graduate of The Ohio State University, where he majored in political science and communications. He resides in San Diego.

The Dallas Logistics Hub is a 5,000 acre intermodal center planned for southern Dallas County. The development will be, in essence, a major inland port bringing products by rail from the Gulf and Mexico and the Pacific for distribution to the rest of the Country.

McAuliffe has more than 23 years of diversified commercial real estate expertise, including acquisition, disposition and land development, investment analysis, facility design and construction, operations and lease negotiations. McAuliffe has previously held long-standing executive positions with Texas Industries, Inc, J.E. Robert Companies and the Brookhollow Corporation.

In 1998, McAuliffe led the design and creation of RailPort, a 1,700 acre, dual rail served industrial development south of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. From 1998 through 2005, he coordinated the construction of more than $60 million of public infrastructure and rail facilities for RailPort and sold sites for facilities to Target Corporation, Toys “R” Us, American National Power and KEHE Food Distributors.

In this role, Allen is focused on corporate development strategy, working with the company’s management team and regional staff in Central and Southern California and Dallas, Texas to execute projects.

Allen joined The Allen Group in 2004 to direct and manage the Company’s information resources for clients and investors, and to build a stronger external communication strategy to promote and inform the industry about The Allen Group.

Before joining the firm, Allen served as a property manager with San Diego-based Meissner Jacquet Investment Management Services. His portfolio included 11 office and industrial buildings, totaling over a half million square feet, for which he oversaw daily property operations, tenant relations and budgets.

Allen’s new responsibilities include evaluating potential development sites; master plan development; pro forma and financial analysis; and interacting with contractors, architects, engineers and other development professionals on behalf of the Company.

Kelly Corporate Center IV, the third phase of the Kelly Corporate Center complex, is strategically located east of I-5 at the signalized intersection of Palomar Airport Road and Aviara Parkway/College Blvd.

This three-story Class A office building, with exterior granite accents and extensive landscaping, will feature a flexible design plan that can accommodate tenants from 5,052 to 75,215 square feet. SACRAMENTO, California (December 16, 2005) The Allen Group, a major developer of industrial and office properties across the Western United States, announced a formation of a joint venture office development with the California Farm Bureau Federation (CFBF) in Sacramento.

The project, still in the planning stages, will feature a campus-style setting of 150,000 square feet of “for sale” Class A office space on 11 acres adjacent to the California Farm Bureau building in Sacramento.

“We are very excited that the California Farm Bureau has selected The Allen Group to develop a high-quality office development in a unique location within the South Natomas market,” said Richard Allen, CEO of The Allen Group. “Over the past five years we’ve co-ventured several successful real estate projects in the Sacramento market with the Farm Bureau.”

The project’s construction start and completion dates, as well as other plan details, have not yet been finalized. Real estate brokers Betty Diepenbrock and Greg Levi of CB Richard Ellis Inc. will represent the project as marketing agents.

BNSF Railway to provide rail service to the International Trade and Transportation Center

SHAFTER, Calif. (December 14, 2005) — The Allen Group, a major developer of industrial and office properties in California, along with the City of Shafter, held a groundbreaking ceremony today for new rail service for the International Trade and Transportation Center (ITTC) in Shafter.

This new rail service, provided by the BNSF Railway and owned by the City of Shafter, will serve the ITTC as well as the southern end of the San Joaquin Valley. The ITTC is a development of The Allen Group.

“As a result of the changing dynamics in the way goods are transported, the ITTC and other rail-served parks are becoming economic engines for the communities in which they are located,” said Luke Allen, Corporate Development Coordinator for The Allen Group. “This will drive growth in the economy of the Central Valley for years to come by increasing trade, distribution and, most importantly, jobs.”

The International Trade and Transportation Center is a 700-acre master-planned industrial park. The ITTC is home to Target Stores’ 1.7 million square foot regional distribution center and a 288,000 square foot spec building currently under construction. Thirty-five million consumers are within a four-hour drive of the property, which will feature rail service to and from the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, for shippers and distributors serving the western United States.

Larry Montgomery has been promoted to Director of Development for Central California. Montgomery formerly served as Director of Commercial Construction for the company and is now responsible for the overall commercial development of the Central California market.

For more than 20 years, he has been involved in commercial and industrial site planning, construction, leasing and property development in Central California. Montgomery’s expertise also includes guiding projects from the entitlement phase through the final stages of construction and leasing.

The Allen Group also announced the promotion of David Hernandez to serve as Director of Construction Services for Central California, operating out of the Visalia (California) office. SAN DIEGO, California (July 13, 2005) The Allen Group, a major developer of industrial and office properties in the Western United States, announced today that VF Outdoor, Inc., a subsidiary of VF Corporation (NYSE: VFC), has signed a long-term build-to-suit lease agreement for a new 817,000-square-foot distribution and logistics facility.

The project will be built at the MidState 99 Distribution Center, a master-planned industrial development in Visalia, Calif. The new facility will serve as the Western distribution hub for VF Corp.’s Outdoor Apparel unit. More than 350 permanent jobs will be created by the facility once it’s fully operational.

VF Corporation, with sales in excess of $6 billion, is one of the world’s largest apparel companies, with leading brands in jeanswear, intimate apparel, outdoor apparel and equipment, and specialty apparel. Its brands include Lee®, Wrangler®, Vanity Fair®, Bestform®, Lily of France®, Nautica®, John Varvatos®, JanSport®, Eastpak®, The North Face® and Vans®.

The Allen Group will develop the new 817,000-square-foot facility, which will feature state of the art racking and distribution equipment, 40-foot clear heights, and an additional 200,000 square feet of mezzanine space for VF Corp. The Allen Group will own the completed building, which will cost an estimated $42 million to develop, and has entered into a long-term triple-net lease on the property with VF Outdoor, Inc. In addition, VF Outdoor, Inc. signed a short-term lease for 118,000 square feet in an existing building that also is located at the MidState 99 Distribution Center.

VF Outdoor, Inc.’s selection of MidState 99 reflects the site’s competitive advantages, including its strategic location, abundant labor supply and existing rail infrastructure,” said Richard S. Allen, chief executive officer of The Allen Group. “The new VF facility will allow goods to be stored, shipped and delivered faster and with greater efficiency.

Scott Burke, Distributions Director of VF Corp., said, “We’re committed to building the most flexible and efficient supply chain in the apparel industry. The Allen Group recognizes our need for a sophisticated, high-tech facility to meet our distribution needs in California and nearby Western states. MidState 99 is a highly attractive site in an optimal location, with 35 million people living within a 300-mile radius.”

Construction of the new facility will begin within the next 10 days, with completion expected in June 2006. The development team includes design-build firm The Haskell Company (Jacksonville, Fla.) and Sedlak (Richfield, Ohio), a supply-chain specialist that is responsible for the design and implementation of all operations and materials-handling systems within the facility.

Strategically located in the heart of California, the MidState 99 Distribution Center (www.midstate99.com) is midway between population centers Los Angeles and San Francisco.
